Darling Friends

I was such a misery guts yesterday but you all put a smile on my miserable face .I hate to moan but sometimes it must come out and to having you all comment was so lovely. Thanks so much.

Good news (in a way) is that a few months back we put a deposit on getting our plans thru council.Last week I asked the builder to wait as we werent sure about being able to get a loan (thats on hold for a good while too) We called today and asked the builders to send back the money minus the house plans and they are so.... my piano is safe.
All we do now is start saving for the council plans again but that will be later in the future. So all your positiveness has been wonderful and what else is wonderful is I can still go opping lol

See I found some things but was very good and it was light on....
10cent books including one ladybug
Golden hands (seems all my folders may have been sent to oppy when we moved in 09 grrr) these were all for $1 but dont you hate it when poeple write the price on them with pen?
Pretty pearls with Sterling clasp $2
Wool blankie ready for the next cold hit.
Another old port what can I say? I love em! I also fill them easily.

and some more self covering button thingies Look Ann!!20c a pack at vinnies you will have to go look too.(Ann is a friend who reads my post and she said she will start blogging soon)

My "Whats in the Basket" post will be coming either later today (I just got home)  or tomorrow for sure, pinky promise
A sneak peek?
arent I nice? mwahh ha ha ha

Glad to hear things are looking up and you can still op! 20 cents is here and there is hardly going to break your bank. Anyway, I hate it when a big unexpected expense comes our way too.

Love the little Bunty book - I used to get the comic when I was young! They only brought out these little books occasionally and I would have to save up to get one. Brought back a few memories.

Hi Nellie! It's hard to fathom that you are buying up wool blankets and I'm cranking up the air conditioning....blogging is an amazing way to connect people from all over the globe, isn't it?

Good to hear you have your piano. I had a neighbor, who moved sadly, but she would play the piano when she couldn't sleep; sweet gentle melodies that I would hear, and then smile and drift off again to the lovely serenade. Just so glad you have yours.

You know, woolly blankets are so pricey here, but I only use them but two months out of the year.

I think you might consider, if you've some to spare, putting up a collection of things like that on your selling site.

You know, start boxing things into like groups such as winter stuff, summer things, and so on, then put them up with the appropriate season, or better, get them up a month prior to the weather change.

Hope this doesn't sound too nosy! Lol! Looking forward to seeing new items up for sale in your shop!

You and the piano are safe - hooray!!! Well my dear friend, you have the most enormous strength, determination and yes, so much compassion it hurts. I have all my fingers and toes crossed for you that you will end up in a place you can call home, paint the walls in nutty colours, garden to your hearts delight and have plenty of room to display the glorious treasures that keep my heart aflutter. Many hugs to you xoxoxoxo

Very happy things are looking a little brighter for you Nelly!
The pearls are lovely!
I love the wool blanket, I found one last summer garage saling for $ and it kept me nice and toasty all through the winter! So it was a lovely investment.
