Garage Sale? Who needs to go to a Garage Sale?

Not me it seems. I just need to go to a garage that has all my things in storage and start rifling thru.Thats what I have done this weekend at LLs place.I have gone thru every box bar 3 large trunks and culled and sorted and repacked and found treasures I had lost, misplaced and forgotten or I swear never knew I had.
The below pics are only a few  of what is in there and some of the lost treasures  I found.

This is what I was faced with. This is after I sorted 1/2 of it yesterday

 Found -
Misplaced pics everyone  say AWWWW
 Chenille bedspread.
 Wire bags
Bags I forgot about, the gold one I swear I have never seen before!! Breeding bags maybe?
 My grandmothers leather rain hat
 2  dresses with my name.
 They are pretty ugly tho
Ugliest silver dress in my dress up box.Wonder who wore it.
More wedding dresses!! Here comes the bride part 3 coming to your channel soon.
My steampunk boots I knew they were packed somewhere.
 Beautiful hand made glasses.
Bag full of kids drawings. I mean my own kids  the ones who are 27,23,21 and 16. Me sentimental or what?
80s velvet dress gotta love this one.
 Leather bag.
2 hats which give me the erks when I touch them they must go.
I trapped myself in the corner and had to call Master 16 to help me out.
Yes I am weird and very tired but I found a hat.Photos taken while stuck in the corner.
These are what I have to go thru yet.
So as you see I dont need to go to garage sales I just have to venture into my own storage area.Wish you all could come and play in there with me.xx

And before I started the shed I finished staining this table.
We bought it in 1990 it has followed us everywhere since then
I call it the heirloom table as I engraved each of my kids names on a corner way back. Now have to add the grandkids names. Also my kids have drawn under the table when they were small.LL says she was sure this table was bigger  as it used to be used as a cubby house too.Its going to be my craft table eventually.(when house gets built and I have a my own sanctuary)
I have also been painting furniture  and finishing off some gifts that I will be sending away. Will share all very soon. When do I do housework you ask?Whats housework?

Nelly xxxx

Ps I found these bags in boxes  too.Yes more bags but...

wait there are more ...but thats for a later post.

Wow, you have a real treasure trove in there! I love going through and finding old things that I had forgotten about. Love the steampunk boots!

I also wanted to thank you for the kind words on my blog post about depression. I hope that sharing my experiences will be helpful for someone out there. I'm sorry to hear about you & your daughter suffering - in my perfect world no-one would have to deal with these things. Thanks again for your lovely words. :)

My goodness as soon as I seen this I tried getting a plane ticket.. they told me all flights are booked. LOL j/k
But my gosh what a bunch of lovely stuff you have got! Even a pic of you with a unborn coconut. *How cute* If you don't like the Janelle dresses use the fabric for some kind of craft and cut the labels out and frame them. =)

Oh my gosh, I would LOVE to explore your garage!!!! Wow, so many amazing things! Please show us photos of your next sorting session :) I almost bought a shell bag just like the one in the bottom picture from the market last week because I thought you could add it to your collection! Lucky it was over priced or you would have ended up with another one, haha!

Have a lovely week :) Xoxox
