Frock on Friday

Hey all I finally have joined the Frock On Friday party. As its winter here I wear alot of warm clothes so its taken me awhile to join in as I have to get changed brrr,Anyway here I am in a gorgeous dress/evening gown  that was in my fancy dress collection when I bought it.
Its a Stephen Glass Brand fabric is Acetate.and it fits me perfectly yay!!

AS you can see its got lovely large beads around the collar.(I have to move a few around as  some are missing) I will be keeping this one.Sorry about the scabby pics (Lauras fault she took them lol)  I am in the middle of redoing my shed AGAIN!!!.So am trying to find a spot.(hope hairy arm pits dont show too much I forgot to get my new shaver)

Close up of   beads and fabric

Also starring my beaded purse 60s earings and the glass beads I had wound in my hair.Blogger is being rude and putting pic the wrong way again.

So that was my 1st FOF (Frock on a Friday) post I hope I  can keep em coming Have you joined yet?

ps While I have you here.I am still procrastinating about a business name I want one so I can start to buy Vintage and Vintage repro  items to sell at markets,
I have gone thru many thinking they were ok but not being 100% happy.I have been going back to Vintage Stars and  Stars of Vintage came to me today (thinking that may be a good one since I not only love vintage but old movie stars of vintage as well.)
I thought Hello Dolly was good but doesnt sound like it would have things for fellas.
so my question to you is what do you all like better Vintagestars(.com is taken )  or Stars of Vintage (.com available) I like last one better  I think  what about you? or is there a name you think would suit me more?
Thanks everyone xxx

Hi Nelly,

gorgeous dress especially in the close ups. The beaded collar is so pretty.

I like Stars of Vintage best.

Have a great weekend, Tam x

I like the "Vintage Nelly" suggestion. I think that's cute, and very personal.

The pastels in your dress and necklace are quite amazing together!

I think it would be a really bad idea to use someone else's name and strongly recommend that you find a name that is not being used by someone already.

Your frock is fab.

Nelly,

Your dress is beautiful!!! As for the name-go with the one that has the '.com' available otherwise your customers may get your business confused with the other 'vintage stars' business. I like the Stars of Vintage-it's chic:). I went through this same dilemma when naming my business which encompasses several areas. I found that many of the names I liked were already taken. I kept trying (with the help of my family) until I found a suitable name that wasn't already taken. Good luck:).

Blessings,

Kim
