Can you imagine

what it would feel like to get boxes and boxes of vintage dresses sent to you by a fairy godmother?I would be ecstatic and would never ever sell them
Well thats what this book is about you must get it and have a read mine is from the library.Doesnt take long to read and  there is a story to each dress.Id have to try them all on I am still drooling!!Be warned the author may make your life seem rather dull!!

Oh for this in my robe.
 and this one too
 Ok Ill take them all
These are some of her collections and I just read that she has a  new book that continues on showing more of her collection and is called Dreaming of Chanel.
If you read either let me know what you think.

and  what a lovely day it was today got hot even what a contrast to yesterday!!Still not sorry that yesterday was wet as the rides being cancelled saved me lotsa $$$.

This is the park the kids play at up the road from our house. It has swings and climbers and a skate park a great place to wear them out.

and lastly I to want to introduce you to a lovely new blogger I met yesterday She loves vintage just like us her name is Vintage Sweetheart you must come and say hi and encourage her on her blogging journey. She is gunna love you guys!!

Ooohh looks like a good book I shall look for it this week! I need to return some books anyhow. I love reading.. but sometimes dislike it because I am the kind of person that doesn't like to put a book down. So when I read something I usually spend hours of the day with my face stuck in it. I usually always finish them within 3 or 4 days. =/

That looks a great read, I'll have to look out for it. Lovely view and gorge weather, it's dreadful here, you'd never believe it was summer. x

I read this book all the way from the library to our house - walking and stumbling along the footpath and nearly getting run over at every junction. Finished it before I reached the front door. Incredible - like a fairy story! xoxo

Such beautiful illustrations! Your park looks like a great place to take the kids. I'm glad it's sunny somewhere because it's rainy in Portland Or.
