Collar me and some other random things.

So glad you all enjoyed my Basket post now do you remember my collars on it? Well on my way into town yesterday arvo I stopped in at an oppie (you know I have to) and lookee what I found.
Can you believe it 5 awesome vintage collars, how cute are they?

The sweetest tiniest seed shaped button ever
All the way from Switzerland this was only one with a tag

Dakota  had a lovely one on in this post and she rocks old vintage like no one else her age can.

I also want to give a shout out to 2 dear friends of mine that blog on occassion but are both talented crafty ladies.
Jen from Nanas Nook does the most lovely machine embroidery ever and she sent me these for my newest grandson Seth (who I still havent met yet sadly and he is now 3months old.)

wasnt that so sweet of her.I actually havent seen her for years but found her again at FB.We knew each other thru a couple of pregnancies 20 odd yrs ago.Funnily enough Jens daughter and my grandaughter (Miss 10s) Aunty are best friends down that way.The aunty is how I found Jen again on her FB page.
So if you need some machine embroidery work done do ask Jen.

My other shout out is to a friend who knows how to do any crafty related thing and thats CraftyCarol. She is a newish blogger and has  done and will do tutorials and will do more once the nice weather comes back and gives her solar to run her PC.At the momemt she is asking if anyone wants to learn how to do folded roses or  pansies I presume using ribbons (she is amazing with that)  if so just let her know and do go read her earlier posts there are a couple of tutorials there.

Other than the collars I  also got  these  too
Vintage lace and binding (for buntings yay)
And another tea cup (like I need another one) but its got Roses (an excuse) Was only $1 sooooo..

Now this randomness is for all the tea towel collectors out there Kylie from Lucy Violet Vintage is a huge collector and finishes of her posts with one every time (bar once and we roused on her for it lol) .I found this pic in one of my new old Notebook magazines and liked it so I thought Id share.

Great way to use up and display your collection.

Now as I have to read blogs while I do my posts I just saw this competition that  Perditas Pursuits is sharing with everyone and thought that many of you style icons should maybe enter?

I think thats all the randomness I have left in me.
I am just so happy that I have people following and leaving comments it makes me feel so good.I read them all and always read your blogs even if not commenting just at the mo.Slow speed and had to topup again till the 18th then I can go crazy again.

Sorry I haven't got back to you, my internet is on the go slow again...it took two hours to do todays post. Nothing would load...very frustrating. Thank god I've got this cold, I have nothing else to do but sit in front of the telly all day.
Have look at the Made It store and tell me which one you like the best. I have also put three on the Etsy as tokens . I am trying to see the difference in hits on both sites
