Yay she made it.

Yes Miss 4.5 made it to surgery no last minute cancellation this time.
Here she is waiting to go in with her Aunty LL  who is not camera happy and wouldnt look at me ha ha (the Captain got sick so my darling Laura came instead as I dont drive in Brissie)

 Gotcha LL

So we are here waiting for her to come out of surgery with straight albiet sore eyes.

On the way here yesterday LL and I did a few opshops in 2 towns called Childers and Gympie.Gympies oppies were a dud but got an Enid Blyton and a Milly Molly Mandy book for 50c each from Childers plus a 1979 womens mag  and 3 fire king mugs for 50c each so that was ok.
We also took th escenic route to Brisbane thru the Sunshine coast and the country thru there is so BEEEAUTIFUL.LL has dibs on Maleney. Now to convince the Captain that we are moving there lol.

Look Out above Nambour
Lookout at Montville

Outside Maleney the sort of land I have always wanted.

Oh and I FINALLY have a pic of my new grandson isnt he gorgeous?

Thats it for now

2 hours later...
Miss 4.5 is fast asleep and snoring away but was awake when she came back to her room and her eyes are so straight. Will take a bit to get used to.We have to see Dr again at 4.30 so will be staying somewhere the night again which will give us a wonderful excuse  to op all the way home tomorrow.

Congrats Nelly - so glad the little one's surgery went well. It must be very stressful!

I love that part of the world too - I went to the last Maleny festival before it moved to Woodford and I'm so glad I did.

Your new grandson is lovely - does he have a name? Congrats!

What a relief it must be, that the op is finally done and has been successful.

I'd heard that the ops in Gympie were really good but have never been there to see for myself. You'd think they'd be better in country towns but I'm starting to think otherwise- I checked out a whole lot on my way to Sydney in January and what I saw was worse than in Brisbane-which is saying something! This is *partly why* I so rarely bother with them.
Hope you all get home safe and well, we'll have to organise a proper meet-up one day soon.xx.

Awww. The wee little girl asleep. I'm glad the operation went well, looking forward to pics of her playing happily with your new Grandson, soon! I'm amazed at the look of her eyes in the pic. You wouldn't know she just had an operation! Amazing what they can do, I'm so happy for you Nelly! Oh, and the land is gorgeous!

Well done! That must feel a whole lot better now that it's over..phew & kids heal so quick which will help..what a difference it'll make for her from here on in. I came across a little piece of perfect gypsy velvet (deep wine) for you today amidst my shambles I'm sure I have others somewhere. Get back to you on that one soon, ok. Much love Catherine
