What I didnt buy

Went for a fix today wasnt that great but giot a metal mop bucket remember those and a cute vintage cane day bed (pick up tomorrow better still be there) and a few other bits and bobs that I will share tomorrow.
Here is what I didnt buy
An 80s  leather coat dress was $25(pic not great was trying to do a sneaky shoot)
this was the lining
This dress caught my eye coz it had a 70s look to it was hand maid and had this
hand beadedpeacock on it
I had one other picture of a beaded 80s dress but it blurred anyway whats your limit to what you will spend on a vintage outfit if you want to resell?
I also didngt buy a gorgeous but rusty metalled 60s dining set was really lovely but was $195 and I missed out on a gorgeous dresser grrr I really think we muct go every day to the oppys to get the great stuff,

I see that many of you have been finding great things I think its my turn now lol

PS I have Joined the Kind Hearted Blogger Pledge

* make an effort--no matter how big or small the gesture, to spread kindness or joy to others
* acknowledge that I will make mistakes, (I am only human) but remember to learn from them
* know that at times I will post about the negative stuff in life, and maybe even some complaining (I am only human) but I will always follow up with something happy/positive too.

Hope you come and join me even tho you are all kind hearted already,

Oh you don't seem to do too badly! Personally I'd have bought that first dress too, but black can be really hard to sell on the internet as your photos need to be REALLY good and black is the toughest colour to photo, IMHO.xx.

@KittyAm actually tempted to buy the leather one but only for resale and not sure had no brand labels that I could see.

I love that little pledge! I have an interest/addiction in vintage hats I have been known to spend up to £25 but prefer it when I can pick them up for £5. looking forward to seeing what you did buy!

Hello Nelly, I have followed the trail back to you & the kreativ blog award. Isn't it a funny old thing to have to write about yourself even though we do through blogging all the time!! I really like the kind-hearted blogger pledge above...good on you for "taking" it. Lovely to pop in & visit. Much love Catherine

The dress is beautiful but you do have to put a limit on how much your spend for resale unless you know its going to fly! I buy clothes to put on ebay but make sure i only spend a little so if it doesnt sell I havent lost out. Love the pledge - i have noticed on my blog travels that sometimes people arnt as tactful as they should be lol, but Nelly you are always fabulous! Scarlett x

oh I am a 'mean' buyer, try not to spend too much of reSale items, cause if no one loves them as much as you did when you saw them... what then? re-Donate to the Oppy!!
