It didnt rain this Easter!!??!!

Rain and the easter holidays usually go together every year so this has been a wonderful weekend having no rain and lots of sun and since Aussies have gotten a 5 day holiday coz Anzac day co-incided with Easter there has been lots of happy people around.(including me )....

As you know Lovely Laura took 5 kids camping including her youngest brother Master 16 plus 4 of  my grandies (her nieces and nephew) (she took housemate for assistance)  and the peace was lovely even tho I still had Master 2 at home.(I will show you what I did next post.)

Today we went and had lunch with them (they are camping about 3/4 of an hour away.) and Master 6 and Miss 4.5 decided it was time to come home (Master 6 said he missed the toilet or was it missed using a toilet ?) So now  its a tad noisy again and tomorrow life will back to normal as they will all be home.
While we there I took some time out on the hammock with Miss 4.5 singing nursery rhymes (do you know kids these days dont know half the ones we knew? how sad is that) and trying hard not to fall out as one side had a slope into cactuses. We did manage to fall out (Miss 4.5 doesnt know how to sit still) but it was on the no cactus side which was a relief and really funny to see.
Here are some pics of the day.

Look at those white legs!!

Miss 4.5 had not been on hammock before hence that  are you sure this is safe look

Peak a boo Miss 8

Miss 4.5 said she saw China "for real Gran" after digging a huge hole in the sand lol and she also caught a stingray (LL has the photos) he was sent back to the sea safe and well after a huge fight landing him.
So now they are still there and we are home I am trying hard to make sure they dont go to sleep to early  and master 6 has been glued to the cartoons since he had a bath and sat down.

Hope you all had a great weekend as well.
See you soon.

Sounds like a beautiful day! How lovely that you could visit the camp site, though I don't blame some of the little ones for wanting to come home early....sometimes a warm bath and a cosy night inside is too easy to resist! I went for a big walk around some beautiful gardens this morning, made pumpkin soup for lunch and just relaxed. It's been nice :)

Happy Easter Xox
