An Oldie Like Me

This is an old vintage dress I bought for 50c way back in the late 90s.When I bought it,it was huge (size 20) so I had a friend take it in I just loved the pattern. The brand is "Design Room".I hadnt worn it for ages as I had to get motivated to do a couple of repairs on shoulder seams. Now its done I will be back to wearing it regularly.
You Like?
Looking goofy again in a rush to get kids to school My little photogrpaher Miss 8yr old took it.I was near melting and it was only 8.30 in the morning,Its a humid day today so maybe not the best idea to wear this polyesterish fabric but damn its nice.

I love it! It really suits you :) And because of the colours, you might be able to pair it with a long sleeve top underneath or something in cooler weather and pull it off!

(Not literally, of course! hehe! But you would rock it!)

I can't wait to train VB to take pics for me like that. How old is the dress P.S. did my comment yesterday offend you? Sometimes I am a bit blunt, sorry!

@Kitty What bluntness? lol I am pretty unoffendable unless someone is a snob or downright nasty lol.I have been flat out all day but am about to email you re your answer to me ebay question.
Miss 8 has been doing photis for me since she was not quite 5 and the dress I think early 70s.

Hmmm...did someone say nasty snob...here I am *batts eyelashes* Lol!

Great pattern on the dress, nice that your friend was able to chop it to exacting proportions! I still am against you calling yourself "Oldie" The dress okay, is vintage, but You really are so young looking! Give the spring chickens something to worry about, I daresay.

Have a lovely afternoon, hope it isn't too, too hot. Ew. I am a great fan of cold weather!

@The Widow Next Oh dear Kate you always make me feel good just lucky I dont do closeups lol.
I have a few dresses that need chopping and its something I will not do on my own.I must make my dress dummy the right size its vintage and doesnt want to stay in place.
Its been terribly humid here I think I want to go back to where we used to live the heat was more genteel on me.
