I Shoulda,Coulda, Woulda

I have been haunted  mentally by the things of Opshop past that I coulda, shoulda, woulda bought but then   didnt. I so hate regrets like that.I must learn to pretend it was either  broken or damaged or say It wasnt meant to be mine as I used to do.Do you have those sorts  of regrets with things you shoulda, woulda, coulda bought or are you able to move on and not regret at all?
Some regret  items this year have been a lovely set of bedside cubpards with basket drawers (seen them sold at big prices since),A gorgeous kitchen cabinet (damn how I need it now!),a really cute ceramic blue and white Owl wall hanger pot plant holder (silly me) a piano stool I saw before I bought my piano and now need one and cant find one  and thats just what I have been haunted with mostly lol  I think these are times where I am not in quite the right opping mind and am not thinking fowward enough. Its more annoying when you saw them 1st and could have bougt them tho it is upsetting when you see someone else with it too.Anyway  enough regrets I muststay  happy with the  things I did buy and here are some from this week.....

oh my!! what a busy girl you have been.
Regrets... I have a few, but then again, too few to mention... (mm, that'd make a good song!LOL)
Only a couple of weeks ago I left a lovely painting of some flowers on a very old board, I thought..naaah too 'kitsch' then when I got home I was sorry, went back next day but of course it was G.O.N.E. !
I didn't buy a lot this week. I'll get it sorted, organized and posted on Sophies blog tomorrow.

I think I must be a fellow "if only"
I seem to have sensible days where I tell myself I don't need something and then get home and regret it. I was lucky the other week I left a china cup and saucer, as you do, and went back a week later and it was reduced to 50p so sometimes it works :)
get well soon

How can you possibly be a Gran?! You have got some great anti-aging genes! I love hte 70's skirt...folksy style flowers always make me smile...especially on black.

The bugs are really neat! They make me grin and give me shivers all in the same breath:) I like to put things that have bug shapes in my flower pots, or on and around garden things. It just meshes so well *grin*

You look like you are feeling better in those pics, Nellie!

Keep it up,

That maxi skirt looks fabulous on you and so does the bee choker. You are one hot-looking lady, more outfit posts, please!!
I'm not one for regrets, I've thought about stuff I've missed and if it's still there the second time you know why you turned it down. Trust your instincts! xxx

Thanks sooo much , Nelly for your opinion re: cutting my hair :)
I do like the versatility of long hair, but am getting a hankering to try something new !
So, after much , well, not enough, thought, I may just do a hard trim and some better layers.

usually when I get this itch, it's because I feel something needs to change in my life!

it's best to let the scissors alone, til i'm truly sure my hair is the issue, not something else ;)

What, what a good haul! I do feel the regret, especially when it's something that I reaaaaally wanted but couldn't afford to buy simply because my money is needed for rent/bills asap instead!

Can't wait to see what you do with the poufy things!

I miss stuff daily...So many hundreds of items pass through my hands and before my eyes each week I'd literally go crazy if I thought about about what I missed. For me it'd be a huge waste of energy. I soon learnt the 'out of sight, out of mind' thing is a good one!

Whoops, didn't mean to send the bug your way, darl!! I'm still snorting and snuffling away,if it's any consolation!
I have always done dumb things like leaving cool stuff behind for stupid reasons! Probably always will! Can't be helped,if you're just not sure, then it's usually best not to! I guess!
But you did indeed get some great scores,so all is not lost!Love that pendant...and the grasshopper!

I'm still kicking myself for NOT buying a mid century Danish glass coffee table with teak bottom! Hey, there are similar bee necklaces on Etsy.com. Make sure to search "bee necklace" under both handmade and vintage.

I'm constantly missing bargains as I have no room for any more stuff! I've made a deal with myself that I can only buy a new item if I have a place to store it. Half of what I own is currently stored in my floordrobe (ie. on the floor) due to having too much stuff for too little space. Although it means I miss out on some amazing bargains I'm saving quite a bit of money!

@Alinja I think thats why so many have shops lol Its something i hope to have one day too then I have a real excuse.
