If it Comes Back to You Its yours

so the saying goes.Just that I actually didnt let anything go I just missed out on it by that - much
Well I did for a few weeks but NOW its mine  But you have to wait till end of this post to see what I am talking about mwah ha ha ha.....(dont you dare cheat I am watching!!!) lol.

In the meantime for your viewing pleasure we have

a 70s pattern and an Aussie Movie book with some great old black and white pics.

Some wooden cotton reels

A light shade for my retro lamp (that I have had for years and years)Tell me is this one the right shape and size for this base?Colour is ok but will have to recover shade due to a few holes and fading.
As you can see my shed floor is messy Again (nothing new there tho)
A lovely vintage brooch (the rhinestone went missing on the way home) has an old brooch back on it.

Leading onto the bit you have all been waiting for,my special opshop lady boss gave me these for free 1965/66 mags and see the doll pattern at top?My mum gave me same pattern when I was a kid thinking I could follow patterns back then (thanks mum but took me awhile before that happened)So that was a nice step back into nostalgia.

Now to put you all out of your misery on my original tease above.

Many of you will remember this post.

And look who owns it now!Me,me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me....Do I look happy some?

No it doesnt fit me (YET!!??)  but it may once I get rid of this winter belly and work out how to get small ribs.Wheres that corset? But how lucky was I the lady who bought it back said she was sad but didnt fit her. Onto my costume rack it goes.

While there look I got another top hat $2 but wait before you get too excited its just a cheap pretend one meant for a  groom on his bucks night I think. (that buck didnt use it as it still had original tag on it).Its also way too big for my head (surprise) but I shall doodifie it up some and make it all pretty.I will get the exact right size next time.Thats what happened to Goldilocks right?

Bye for  now

I have some of those film book I just got them recently. (I find them quite fun to look through.) It also helps me decide on some new classic movies to watch. *heehhehe*

*Ahhhh* I had a feeling as soon as you mentioned you got something back it would be the suit. It is absolutely amazing and AWSOME

I really like the thread on the wood spools I only have a couple but if I come across more I will for SURE buy them.

Wow Nelly! That jumpsuit is spectacular! Just hang onto the bedpost and cinch those strings! Wowee-Wow! Can it be let out at the seams at all? Oh honey I'd be figuring out a way to wear that somehow! I adore your lamp - LUUUV the color & that you're so talented as to be able to make another shade cover. BTW - I looked at the old post & I have to say, you look divine with blue hair ;- ) I still think "The Duke" would say, "I like your style Nel". Great finds girlfriend!

OMG!
that Jumpsuit is dreamy!!!!!!!
i too nabbed a vintage early 60's/late 70's long shift/dress with embroidered lace around arms/neck and pockets! it just said medium so i knew it would fit. Nope. Too small in the chest and no way to
expand' it :(

Bout the header:
I can do it with any image u like as long as it isn't copyrighted.

Maybe look at google and type in vintage lady images, or just vintage images (as most of those aren't copyrighted ;)

You might see something that really catches you - or a wallpaper design we could used for a background!

First, we need a name!
I will do a couple more samples and send them to ya!
xXx
