Books, Books, Books and a tooth.

See this bag of books...

Take a closer look

I would have been happy paying the price they were marked at 20c each golden book all are old and there are 21 of them The geography one I had as a kd.

I would have paid  the 50c and $2 for the Movie and Musical books and the 50c for the  1964 Treasure Island book (same age as me think its worn better tho).and 50c on the  Dear Mother great pics and different verses.

Gorgeous 70s pics from the Dear Mother book (sorry gone sideways again)

YeP I would have paid the asking price for them all

But got to counter and she said you know you get a bag of books for $3 No but yay me

And look who lost another tooth!!Does master 6 look proud or what?

Wonderful haul of books Nelly! Master 6 looks very proud and very cute too! I've been having problems with Blogger and posting comments so apologies if it seems I haven't visited lately. (I have and commented too!) Hugs xx

Great books! Love them. How wonderful that the lady gave you a 'wholesale' price. I'd have gleefully skipped out the shop. :)

Oooh, my mother collected vintage Golden Books for me when I was growing up; I'm quite certain that had a large part in my being so vintage-minded now!! Wonderful finds!
The "Dear Mother" illustrations look so lovely too; I also love the beautiful '70s-girls graphic on the sheets you posted yesterday! Those '70s illustrators sure knew how to draw gorgeous hair!
