Thats Brisbane to non Aussies.Brissie is about 5 hours south of where I live.Miss 4.5 has her eye operation at the Royal Brisbane Hospital tomorrow and we must be there by 7am.My grandaughter Miss 4.5 has turns in both her eyes. They started to turn inward when she was about 18 months old and we finally are at the stage where they will be fixed. We believe its something that runs in my fathers side of the family as my nanna (dads mum) my uncle a cousin my sis and 2 of her kids all have had same thing.Missed all my kids and got Miss 4.5 will still wear glasses as she is long sighted but least she wont have kids saying anything nasty when she gets older.(there are always bullies somewhere) Here she is ...
To keep myself amused I knitted all the way down and was doing well till I realised I left my size 8mm needles that I needed at home grrr. This pattern uses 5 different sizes.Luckily I bought a book to help pass the time.
Am doing some more wrist and ankle cuffs ( buy pattern from Ravelry HERE )Such a fun and simple pattern to make..Am going to see if anyone will buy them when I get my ebay going again. What do you think? Will they sell? What do you think I would get for them?Have a price in mind will see what you all think.
Sitting in Motel room at the moment and I spied this cute house over the road its more mauvey than gray like it looks.I can just see this on my acres of land it would be my craft and collections room and guest cottage.Oh how I wish I wasnt a dreamer is can be way too torturous.
Am sure I will be seeing lots more beautiful houses but since The Captain is driving there wont be any stopping.Nope not even for oppys, boo hoo me.

Miss 4.5 is sooo cute! Hoping all goes well tomorrow, Tam x
Wishing your grandaughter all the best for her operation, Scarlett x
she is adorable as she is and I wish her well. Not stopping for op shops?
oh Nelly, maybe the Capt. could stop at ONE op shop, just quickly, so you can grab the necessary # knitting needles?. All the best for the little one's operation♥
Too bad you can't stop in anywhere or we could meet up, I'm not that far away from RBH. FYI oppys around the Redcliffe area are not bad.xx.
I'd buy them in red and black stripes - they are super fab! Hope your little one's operation goes just fine tomorrow.

How cool are those ankle cuffs!!! Hope Miss 4.5's operation goes well.
Nelly you're here in Brisneyland?!!!!! Eeeeeeep!!!! Oh my goodness I hope everything goes smoothly for your little darling GD - what a cherub!! How long will she be at the RCH? I wish your family all the very best and warmest wishes for a successful op. RCH is a brilliant hospital - there are many wonderful, dedicated clinicians working tirelessly there.
What no op-shopping? Yeow!!! If you can get away after things settle down I would recommend an arvo at Paddington - the shops are in two sections of Given Tce. LOTS of vintage and some antique shops to rummage through and it's close to the RCH at Herston.
Oh and I really, really, really love those ankle cuffs - especially with the stripes! Email me if you need anything sweetie xoxo
aahh good luck for tommorrow i hope all goes well for her bless her. Dee x
@Kitty What I should have done is arranged for a pick up to go opshopping with one of my Brissie blogging, opshopping addicted friends silly me.
@Pull Your Socks Up! Should have arranged to meet you for an opshopping jaunt shouldnt I ??
@Misfits Vintage Was thinking of selling for $28 plus postage which wouldnt be alot $25 to my blogging friends. is that too much? You tell me what you think they would sell for.I actually have a red and black pair made already.Or maybe we can do a gifty exchange I would like that.
